La Maison Bulles "The Bubble House" inspiration for a collection of rings




The unique architecture of this Antti Lovag's bubble house inspired my super chunky cocktail rings. There are no right-angles in this building. The organic, rounded shapes are supposed to provide a more harmonious environment, which I thought I would try and bring to some wearable pieces. The colour scheme I took from the stoney exterior and the pure white decor inside.

the inspiration for a piece or even a whole collection can be one tiny detail, such as the lovely lettering on this button reading "best ring edge", which is even included into part of the design of some
The textured surface created by the crystals and button forms is contrasted by the highly polished, smooth flat edge.


My cast rings give an organic quality to a man-made object like buttons so they look like they have been dug up out of the ground. Future fossils of our everyday objects
